We had a blast and shivered in the cold, as OCI Associates, Inc., Workplace Resource, SDA and AIA sponsored our outdoor Awards Celebration at Terrace 390.

We surprised our teams with an "out of this world" look at our Wonders of the World structures!

As Host, Dana Taylor of MIX105.1 said....

"Tonight we’d like to take you on a journey.

First, we need to be sure we have what we need, so grab a Football Helmet – you never know what might come at us - and an array of cell phones to be sure we’re ready for whatever we encounter.

You never know – we could face an Olympian challenge on our journey. Could there be tigers in that canosseum or perhaps a purple octopus coming out of the sea?

And what if we get signs that the world is about to end and the towers start to lean? It’ll be good thing we have a football helmet!

Maybe you’d like to see the Eiffel Tower? Do you like French food or do you prefer spam? How would you say that in French? Le Spam???? Maybe we should have a CANversation about that. Or not. Of course, there’s great ART in France – we should probably check that out, too.

iCan say, I think we would all love to see the pyramids especially before the World Ends. Is the world going to end? We may need to have a quick response…is there an App for that?

Are you up for this? A journey…with tigers, spam, football helmets, apples, cell phones and apps. Towers that lean or are made of spaghetti, canosseums with sardines, great barrier reefs with fish that swim, and pyramids to the sun.

And what a year it was! 29,697 pounds of food. To coin a phrase we use a lot - Woo Hoo!!!!
